Every year I see this cutie, I tell myself she can’t possibly get any cuter, smarter, etc..but she does…everytime. Sweetness and innocence all wrapped up in one very special girl!
Tis the season…
May 11th, 2011for communions that is… They get my spring shooting into action and we are always (generally) blessed with such nice weather! These long time clients of mine were a complete pleasure. Years past was a bit challenging when they were all so young, but now, easy peasy… (the fact that they all had sports, baseball an hour later, probably kept them in check too
Who wants to be late for that????
Thanks guys, you were all awesome!

Winter
January 8th, 2011My daughter woke up half an hour late for work this morning and did not have time to clean her car of the snow we got yesterday…so while driving her at 7:30 in the morning, I couldn’t help but notice how pretty everything looked with the snow, that hadn’t yet melted from the trees. I was thinking it was a perfect opportunity to please the need to shoot a little, especially during my slow-mo season. I knew my husband wouldn’t mind as he is a nature lover so off we went to Ramapo Reserve… Unfortunately in my haste, I brought the wrong lenses, but I made do with what I had… Side note to self…dress warm like your going skiing…my feet and fingers were ready to fall off.
Amongst all that beautiful winter wonderland, was this big fat gorgeous Cardinal. Darn where is my zoom!!!! Thank goodness for crop tool in photoshop!!

A Very Special Someone
December 20th, 2010I had the pleasure of meeting this lovely family a few years back. There are times when I connect instantly with some of my customers and we become friends outside of the business. This special mom, is one of them and probably one of the strongest women I have ever met. To say life treated her unkindly is an understatement…to say she met these challenges with strength, courage, dignity and resiliency is an understatement. She is someone I will forever look at as a role model in what it takes, to keep on going. And she does it with tact and grace.
I think she truly knows my love for her, and her family, but I’ll say it again.. I Love You, and hope that life rewards you, in all that you are, and in all that you will be. You are many people’s Oak Tree.

Change of Pace
November 6th, 2010College students! Easy peasy… love them. Definitely wish I had more of a senior market (meaning seniors in hs) So to kick that off, the first person who contacts me for a “senior shoot” will receive a free sitting fee!
Mr Handsome here…

Brothers
October 21st, 2010I tend to photograph the same kids year after year…sometimes there is little change, but this year marked a big one for the big brother. Taller, slimmer and just more boyish…already playing football! (and old enough to tell me this is getting a bit beat for him!!!) All I can say is..you still have many years of this!! My son ABSOLUTELY hates doing the pics for Holiday Cards. (so no offense taken..hehehe) My clients seem to think that my kids oblige to every photo op request because they only see the good ones, but one of these days I will break out some funny outtakes just to let you know, even my kids do it!!
And just how adorable is this guy with those big brown eyes!!!

My daughter
October 10th, 2010I needed to take a picture of Erin for a school project. It’s actually a parent message for her high school yearbook. It’s hard to believe my baby girl is 17 and very very busy in her senior year. College visiting, applications, volleyball, work.. I know everyone says, enjoy the ride it goes by fast, but that’s really an understatement! I know it’s our job to give them wings, but I will truly miss her when she leaves for college..although I won’t miss her borrowing all my stuff and her messy room, but that’s another post. I told my husband when we retire, we should become college students. Where else can you get all your meals cooked and served at anytime of the day, absolutely no cleaning whatsoever, utilize a big beautiful gym facility, and have an abundant supply of nightlife and cool activities throughout the year? Maybe even learn a thing or two?? haha

Welcome to my New Blog!
October 8th, 2010It’s been in the works for a while, but I’m happy to say it’s up and running. I hope you like it…now on to blogging!
Little kids say the cutest things…having two teenagers they don’t always say such cute things. Ugh. During our shoot we were talking the usual girl talk, and I was remarking how adorable and pretty they were…the one sister said that she doesn’t look anything like her sister, in that her sister had “brown hair” and she had “yellow squiggly hair” ..just like me. (Hey it was very humid out that day!!)
Here they are in all their cuteness.
